NFB Offers 6 Scholarships to Doc Circuit Mtl
Montreal, October 16, 2007 - The
National Film Board of Canada is pleased to offer six independent filmmakers a
chance to participate in Doc Circuit Mtl at the Rencontres
internationales du documentaire de Montrˇal (RIDM) next month. Applicants must
be emerging film and video creators (director, producer, writer/researcher)
from visible minorities, Aboriginal communities, or be disabled.
A co-venture of RIDM and DOC Quebec, Doc Circuit Mtl
is a two-day documentary film market with panel discussions, face-to-face
meetings, project pitches and workshops with producers, broadcasters and
distributors from across Canada and around the world. The event will take place
at the Grande Biblioth¸que on November 12 and 13.
Candidates
must provide the following:
Selected applicants will be
announced on Wednesday, November 7, 2007. All recipients will be required to
submit a post-event evaluation for the NFB, detailing their experience and
outcomes from the event.

received by Monday, October 29 2007 at 5:00 PM
