We're holding our first fundraising party in support of our film "The Hermitian Penny":

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to clarify a point of confusion for our Penny party this coming Wednesday. You should have all the info, but I’ve included it just below for quick reference.

For all you bringing in your penny jars, you don’t need to count your pennies, or roll them up prior to arriving.

Thanks to Interweigh and Ken Carcasse , we are being provided a coin weighing machine that will automatically calculate the number for us. So just bring them in any container (preferably disposable) and we will take care of the rest.

All pennies will be counted towards our objective of reaching one million. I’ll also round up a few gifts we can throw at the top 3 penny bringer inners. Yes, we’re all about bribing you!

Also, just to let you know, Paul Kininmouth and his superb bassist Tony Fewkes (who played with Wham! on tour) will be kicking off the band parade at around 9:00. As well, acclaimed roots blues and ragtime guitarist Dan Livingstone will be joining us. And we’re waiting on confirmation from funny man Derek Seguin. Along with everyone else, it’s shaping up to be a special night with an eclectic mix of performances that will please everyone.

On behalf of the entire production team, thank you all for your support and we are looking forward to seeing you all there.
