THE HOUSE SITTER

PRESS RELEASE

MONTREAL: Tori Spelling (Beverly Hills 90210, So NoTORIous) stars in THE HOUSE SITTER, a suspense thriller being produced by David Patterson (Largo Winch, Champagne Charlie) and Jesse Prupas (Trace Evidence, Mind Over Murder) from a screenplay written by Mark David Perry.

Tori takes on the role of Elise, a struggling artist, whose life is put in jeopardy when she takes a job as a house sitter looking after a rich man’s country villa.

The television movie is produced by Muse Entertainment Enterprises and Sound Venture Productions. The two companies co-produced Spelling’s last TV movie Mind Over Murder in 2005.

Starring opposite Spelling is her husband, Dean McDermott (Open Range, Against the Ropes). He plays Phil, the local repairman who becomes Elise’s lover. Unknown to Elise, Phil has disguised his identity and is there to excise his past demons by confronting the house’s owner, Frank, played by Jonathan Higgins (The Greatest Game Ever Played, Martha Behind Bars).

“The entire crew is delighted to have Tori and Dean back with us to shoot another picture. Last summer’s film was a tremendously positive experience for us. We just had to find a way to produce another project with one of Hollywood’s hottest couples,” says Jesse Prupas.

The film’s executive producers are Michael Prupas (Human Trafficking, This is Wonderland), Rob Green (Trace Evidence), Spelling and McDermott. Neil Bregman of Sound Venture Productions (H2O, The Toy Castle) is co-producing.
