Posted June 30th, 2006: MFG member Laura Turek has directed a new short film called My Friend Ana. The film will be premiering on Thursday, July 6th at 7PM. Reception begins at 5:30PM. Takes place at Bar Cocktail, 1669 Ste-Catherine St. East (at Papineau). Here's the film's synopsis: Alone and confused in a surreal army camp, Sophie is befriended by Ana who offers to help her cope with the bizarre situation. However as the reality grows more absurd, the boundary distinguishing between friend and foe becomes blurred. Enjoy the film!
