MFG NEWS / NOUVELLES DU MFGSaturday, February 10th Video Party is throwing another event at 3035 St Antoine. The next screening, called "All’s Fair in Love and War”, will tastefully juxtapose works about love, lust & sex with videos inspired by war, violence & fear.We’re doing things a bit differently this time: Instead of screening the films back to back, we’ll be presenting short selections of works every hour on the hour. This way, no matter what time you come or go, you’ll at least be able to see some of the fantastic films we’ve selected for your viewing pleasure. We’ve been overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of films that have been submitted from here in Montréal and around the world. Just to give you an idea, we’ve got a heart-warming animation from the Vancouver Film School, a short Western called “Shootin’ for Love” from Santa Fe, and a very powerful stop-animation from Lebanon. Needless to say the films, the music and the vibe make Video Party an experience not to be missed. The full screening schedule will be posted on the www.videoparty.info website shortly. See you soon.
