Ben Gonshor - MFG Co-Founder

Ben holds an M.F.A. from the prestigious Peter Stark Producing Program of the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. It is there in Los Angeles where he worked at Universal Pictures, on publicity for such films as The Fast and the Furious, Jurassic Park III and Captain Corelli’s Mandolin and also helped establish Wamerica, the Los Angeles office of French actor, Alain Chabat.

As an actor, Ben has been a lifelong member of the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre, starring in such plays as Lies My Father Told Me, The Dybbuk and On 2nd Avenue. He is also an accomplished musician, having recently played bass guitar for the hit musical revue Those Were The Days at the Segal Centre for Performing Arts and on tour in Europe.

Ben is also a lover of the written word and a prolific writer in various forms. He most recently penned his first stage play, Houdini, which premiered at the Segal Centre for Performing Arts in February, 2008 and was a featured event in the 29th annual Festival International de Jazz de Montreal where it played at Théâtre Outremont.

Ben recently served as Director of Marketing and Communications & Executive Producer of Online and New Media at The Segal Centre for Performing Arts.
